Thank you to the facilitator and all 27 participants from 20 organizations who joined the SUN CSA Friday Hangout on 16th February 2024 on the topic of ‘New IEC materials for laws on baby formula in shops and health facilities’.
Ms. Phetsavanh Chathavong, Health Manager of CARE International in Lao PDR, presented the key messages and the new IEC materials for Decree on Food Products and Feeding Equipment for Infants and Toddlers, which show the decree prohibitions. The IEC materials are mean to use for manufacturers, retailers, healthcare facilities and the community, aiming to protect, promote and support breastfeeding in Laos. CARE International in Laos in cooperate with UNICEF, EU and Ministry of Public Health to develop this IEC materials.
