Mr. Vatvisa Keosalivong, Chief of Party for the Learning and Engaging All in Primary School (LEAPS III) project with CRS Laos, presented the best practices and recommendations on school meals from the LEAPS III project to SUN CSA members at the SUN CSA Friday Hangout this morning. The event was attended by 55 staff from 13 member organizations. The overarching goals of the school lunch program are to increase enrollment, improve the nutritional condition of school children, and enhance school agriculture, including school gardens. The project emphasizes community contribution and engagement as key to achieving sustainable outcomes.
