SUN CSA members work together, with the Lao government and with other nutrition stakeholders, to improve nutrition outcomes and reduce climate change impacts through coordination, collaboration, advocacy, capacity building and knowledge management.

SUN Laos conducts an annual BREASTFEEDING FRIENDLY WORKPLACE AWARDS as a way to increase breastfeeding rates of working parents. Workplace breastfeeding creates healthier babies, happier staff and more productive workplaces. All workplaces in Laos are encouraged to take the workplace breastfeeding awards survey. This can help workplaces to improve their practices and policies. Every year there is an Awards ceremony to celebrate improvements to breastfeeding in participating workplaces.
Applied Nutrition Research Capacity Building project is funded by USAID through its LASER PULSE program led by Purdue University. The project will improve nutrition understanding and research quality as well as strengthen coordination and collaboration on nutrition search among government ministries, NGOs, academic institutions, and the private sector.

Strengthen on implementation of the Lao national nutrition strategy (SILANS) is a project that implemented by Lao social organizations in partnership with the Ministry of Health, representation by the Department of Hygiene and Health Promotion. The aim of the project is to build a nutrition information management system and provide nutrition materials to be sustainable in the 3 target provinces and to build a coordination with Lao social organizations at the local to central level to implement various policies and inquire about assistance.
An integrated-nutrition project funded by the European Union and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to create supportive conditions for enhanced household (HH) nutrition, with targeted support to women of reproductive age and children under five years old, implemented in 12 districts of Attapeu, Saravane and Savannakhet provinces.
A multi-sector Nutrition project funded by the European Union (EU), which aims to improve the nutritional status of adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women, and children under 5 in 14 target districts in the provinces of Huaphanh, Luang Namtha, Luang Prabang and Phongsaly in northern Laos.
