The SUN CSA Nutrition Working Group meeting completed the the discussion on the nutrition work.
The SUN CSA Nutrition Working Group meeting was conducted online on 17th May with 16 participants from 12 organizations. The meeting participants discussed the food security advocacy action plan developed from last week’s launch of the Food Security Study. Each organization also updated on their work, including the planned launch of the Nutrition Dictionary by CRS in July. There was also agreement to discuss best practice for growth monitoring, and some increase in malnutrition rates.
Thank you all for volunteering your time to share your lessons and coordinating your actions with each other. Together we can improve nutrition across Laos. Our next Nutrition Working Group meeting will be in August. We look forward to supporting your organizations’ nutrition activities in the future.
