CRS is developing a Lao Nutrition Dictionary that will be full of technical terms and vocabulary used in nutrition work. This will become an important reference for all nutrition development partners in Laos, including government, INGO/CSOs, donors, UN, researchers and students to use nutrition vocabulary with the correct meaning.
This is part of the USAID funded Applied Nutrition Research Capacity Building (ANRCB) project, which is implemented by CRS, the Nutrition Centre and the University of Health Services and Perdue University.
Thanks to the 35 staff from SUN CSA organisations that provided comments on the Nutrition dictionary draft at the SUN CSA Friday Hangout on 2nd September. SUN CSA members are invited to provide comments and suggestions for the draft terms and the design of the dictionary by sending comments to Mr. Sitthiphone, Project Officer of ANRCB Project/CRS by Friday 9th September 2022. The nutrition dictionary is expected to be launched at this National Nutrition Forum 2022.
