Thanks to Jerome Villanueva, Senior Climate Change Adaptation and Gender Advisor, and the team from CARE International in Lao PDR for sharing with us about the impacts of climate change on agriculture productivity!
Over 25 staff from SUN CSA member organisations explored the linkages of climate change and nutrition and how it is becoming a relevant human development issue. The higher the rates of carbon dioxide in the soil, the lower the concentration of proteins, vitamins, and minerals in our food – which is critical for human health.
