SUN CSA Laos members from 14 organizations discussed the advocacy workplan of SUN CSA on 22 February 2023. We did very well!
In the SUN CSA Advocacy Working Group (AWG) Meeting, held both online and in person at the Center of Nutrition/ANRCB meeting room, SUNCSA members reviewed progress on advocacy priorities over the past 6 months and explored what our priority areas should be for the next year. SUNCSA members harmonize our advocacy priorities and actions via the AWG and present them to wider membership for endorsement at our Annual General Meeting (the next AGM will be held on 29 March 2023). Currently, members are looking to make real changes in breastfeeding services, workplace lactation support, and enforcement of the Breastmilk Substitute control regulation, amongst others. The next AWG will be held in August 2023 and we welcome new motivated members to join us!
