Dengue is one of the leading causes of child death and one of the diseases related to nutrition that the Lao government has prioritized through prevention and control measures. Save the Children International in Laos is working with The Department of Communicable Diseases Control, Ministry of Health to implement the project Pilot Implementation of the WMP Wolbachia Method Using wMel Strain to reduce Dengue Transmission in 32 villages of Chanthabouly and Xaysettha Districts, Vientiane.
