Phakhaolao is a platform dedicated to preserving and promoting agrobiodiversity in multifunctional landscapes in Laos.
It serves as a central hub for knowledge, information, and data on Laotian agrobiodiversity, aiming to empower local communities and stakeholders to utilize these resources sustainably.
Users can explore the Pha Khao Lao database with over 1400 plant, animal, and fungi species, alongside profiles of agrobiodiversity champions in Laos. The platform publishes weekly social media posts on Facebook and has a YouTube channel boasting around 80 videos.
Additionally, the website curates news from Laos and the Mekong Region that are relevant to agrobiodiversity.
We’re thrilled to welcome Pha Khao Lao as a new SUN CSA member and we are excited to join forces for upcoming events.
