Although there have been significant improvements in the country, Laos still has a developing health
care system. With weaknesses in financing, health records, infrastructure and management of health services,
medical care in Laos remains inadequate and unevenly distributed. The Ministry of Health (MoH) aims to
achieve universal health coverage by 2025. MoH has made efforts to provide services to more people by
